    Mark made my floral dreams come true for our April wedding! I cannot recommend him enough - not only did our wedding day surpass our wildest dreams, but he made the entire planning and engagement period feel like a breeze!     My love of 16 years had past, and I had a picture in my mind the flowers I wanted for him. Wildflowers in the shape of a heart, whispy and natural.     With the passing of our father, which has been a business owner in the Town of Vinton for 56 years, we were so honored that Creative Occasions arranged most of the flowers. Ralph Chumley, former operator of Citizens Upholstery was in business when Francis Obenchain owned the flower shop - which is now Creative Occasions. Every arrangement that we received was outstanding and Mark spent the time going over all of the requests and the changes that we had. We would highly recommend Creative Occasions!

    I’m so happy I ordered from Creative Occasions! I had spent days researching flowers/scents/& meanings to assemble different bouquet ideas. Mark took time to go through the flowers I’d desired, and discussed the reality of what was in season, or available as alternatives. He even added white pine from his own home. The receiver’s description; “The pic does not depict the depth of the hues, and the mingled scents fill the area.     Mark at Creative Occasions was great to work with! He worked with us to create bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres that captured our Fall theme and included our favorite flowers.     I had an amazing experience through out the whole time planning my wedding. As soon as I walked into the lobby to do my consultation I was instantly impressed. Mark was very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions and also give me suggestions that ended up saving me money. They were also very understanding when we had to postpone our wedding a whole year due to Covid. On the wedding day, my flowers were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.     Planning a wedding during a pandemic is never the ideal situation.. Mark made it feel effortless and fun! We met over zoom multiple times to make sure everything was right and I even changed some things/added to my original requests during our last conversation (about a month out) and he happily accommodated. The florals were actual masterpieces that I wish I could have kept alive FOREVER. They truly brought my wedding to life.     Living down Rt. 24 in the Chamblisburg area there aren't a lot of places to choose from for flowers. Googled Vinton florists and Creative Occasions popped up! Best Google search ever!     I cannot find enough words to thank Mark and Laura for bailing me out in an end of day pinch for a funeral viewing that started in 45min from my call (flowers from the online giant didn't show).     Service was good, and the flowers were initially beautiful. However, they were not as fresh as they should have been and subsequently only lasted a few days before dying. For the price, the freshness should have been much better.

    Mark and his team were a dream to work with. I was an out of town bride, and Mark was able to make time to meet with my fiance and me when we walked into his shop, about five months before the wedding. He listened to our vision, provided suggestions on how to keep costs down, and was responsive to every email and phone call I left.     Mark at Creative Occasions brought beauty to my wedding day through all the florals. My bridal bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet and totally matched my inspiration! My bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, and family flowers were all stunning. I can't forget about all the center pieces at the reception and the bouquet at the church! All just stunning. My favorite piece (besides my bouquet) was the tall orchid centerpieces! They really were a work of art. I highly recommend working with Mark at Creative Occasions for your wedding!     The flowers that adorned the tables for my daughter’s wedding reception at the Taubman Museum of Art were beautiful, and the wedding party bouquets were lovely as well. Everyone commented on the beauty of the arrangements with the flowers and colors chosen. When we walked into the Taubman for the reception, the auditorium and atrium looked stunning.
